Golden Delicious

  was obtained by chance from a seed  in Virginia (USA), in 1890. The Golden Delicious has the characteristic of having a tasty yellow flesh that is pleasantly crispy, juicy and aromatic and an incomparable quality taste.

to the tree, it is considered of medium vigour and very productive. The conservation of the fruit can be prolonged in refridgerators up to six months, but with more sophisticated methods, like the lowering of the oxygen level in ( ULO ) cells they can be stored for up to 10 months.
